At age six, I told Jesus I needed Him; that's all I knew at the time. I've spent the past 18 years fumbling my way through this thing called Christianity, baffled that God continues to love me. The Gospel is the greatest love story of all time, and yet I manage to add needless fluff at every opportunity. True to His character, my King pursues me consistently, and occasionally strips away the things in my life that don't belong. It is rarely a painless process, and has, on occasion, caused me to lose my desire to follow Him. Yet, His love never ceases. Like the Prodigal Son, He runs to embrace me each time I return.
I'm obsessed with the subjects of Anthropology and International Aid and how they relate to the spreading of the Gospel. I'm always learning, most frequently by making mistakes. It's an unknown journey with a killer known ending.
